Thrillets is a Nigerian digital publication about everyday life, culture, personal growth and practical living.
We believe the things that shape our lives are often found in ordinary experiences. It could be from leaving home for the first time, navigating relationships, figuring out work and money, understanding our culture, dealing with everyday challenges or trying to become better versions of ourselves. Thrillets bring all of these together for you.
That is what we write about.
Our goal is not to publish simply because a topic is trending or because people are searching for it. We want every article to give readers something useful; a guide, an explanation, a perspective, a practical answer, a story worth remembering or information that helps them make a better decision.
What we cover
- Life & Culture
Stories and perspectives about Nigerian culture, identity, traditions, changing lifestyles and the experiences that shape how we live.
- Practical Living
Useful guides for navigating everyday life, services, technology and situations that matter to Nigerians.
- Personal Growth
Thoughtful content about confidence, career, adulthood, money habits, learning and becoming more intentional about life.
- Society & Relationships
Conversations about relationships, family, social behaviour, changing expectations and the issues influencing Nigerian society.
How we create our content
We aim to publish original, useful and well-researched work.
Depending on the subject, our articles may draw on official documents, credible research, interviews, first-hand experience, expert perspectives and other reliable sources.
When we use information from external sources, we aim to add context, analysis or practical value rather than simply reproduce what has already been published elsewhere.
For guides involving changing information such as government processes, applications, prices or technology, we make committed and reasonable efforts to verify important details and identify the relevant official source.
Our writers
Every article published by Thrillets have an identifiable author.
Our writers are responsible for the accuracy, clarity and originality of their work. Where specialist knowledge or additional verification is necessary, articles may also be reviewed or edited before publication.
Corrections and updates
We take accuracy seriously.
If we discover that an article contains an important factual error, outdated information or information that requires clarification, we will update the article and, where appropriate, indicate that it has been revised.
If you notice something that needs correcting, please contact us.
Our editorial principle
We would rather publish fewer useful articles than fill the website with content that does not genuinely help anyone.
Thrillets exists for readers first.
